I just stumbled on a photograph three guys took on their vacation to Paris. Like all young people on vacation, they struck poses in front of major tourist attractions, and ended up with CSI: Paris.

Now that little plotbunny has wormed it's way into my brain, and won't leave!

So I did a little research when between my girlfriend and I, we couldn't translate 'CSI' into french properly.

The organization is called "Institut de recherche criminelle de la gendarmerie nationale". The Gendarmerie is mainly a rural and military police force, so swap 'gendarmerie' for 'olice' (the urban police force) and we have a winner!

Quickly shortened to "IRC", we have IRC: Paris! *throws on whatever the french equivalent of The Who, is*
